ChatGPT for Teams brings together the popular generative AI services with advance team management and data protection needed to use such a service at a global company. Joining the F&C ChatGPT Teams Account
Once your support ticket has been fullfilled a auto generated email from OpenAI will be sent with the workspace link. Click the Join Workspace button to begin the process.
Once you have logged into your ChatGPT account or created a new one you will be presented with a quick overview of the features that ChatGPT Teams provides to users.
Walk through the standard enrollment questions including Primary Role & Interest (external users can select Freelancer/Other or skip).
Once your set up is complete users will know they are on the F&C ChatGPT system by the auto populated company logo on the top right. Users can also access the ChatGPT menu from this logo
From within the logo users will be able to switch between personal & company ChatGPT systems along with accessing custom built GPTS.
Important Information:
- Subscriptions do not cross accounts. Users are advised to cancel their personal ChatGPT subscription as Teams already supercedes the offerings.
- Prompts do not cross accounts both historical & future. Users can merge their personal & company prompts by selecting Settings>Data Controls>Merge Data from Personal Workspace (Please note this is irreversible once initiated & suggest users ensure any personal ChatGPT Plus/Pro subscriptions are canceled before proceeding)
From the Manage Workspace option in the menu users can see members in their GPT Pods & Select the Leave Workspace option from the elipses dots if you wish to seperate your personal/teams account.
- GPT Pods – GPT Pods are essentially groups of users and their admins who manage those users. Normally Pods are small 1-2 person segments but may exceed 25 on large scale deployment. There are no additonal benefits or restrictions placed on Pods & team members may belong to different pods and are soley assigned based on Azure Active Directory flows.
From the Explore GPT option on the main screen users can see populate and newly created custom company GPTS that are shared either individaully to your account or across the whole company.
